Féline Minne was born in Ghent, Belgium in 1987. Having been raised by her grandparents, she studied Painting at the Royal College of Art in London. She was unconditionally accepted to continue with a PhD at The University of the Arts London. A drop-out thereafter, she put all her belongings in storage and became a nomadic artist, moving from artist residency to artist residency. This unsettled way of living has its roots in her research interests in magic realism, daydreams, and wandering thoughts. Ursula K. Le Guin, said that we need fantasy to think about the possibilities of a better world. Allowing your imagination to roam free is a rebellious act. Allowing everything, identities and ways of living to be fluid, is how Féline Minne voices her humane, and liberal views. She currently resides in New Zealand.
